YMCA is coming


As of Tuesday 02 October 2018, the YMCA will be the new provider for the Out of School Hours Care (OSHC). 

YMCA have a great reputation in OSHC and have an emphasis on skill building with children in their care within a strong community focus.

Some of the key features of the YMCA service:

• Competitive fees

• Aligned with our Currimundi Vision – supporting our Learning and Thriving philosophy

• Huge variety within their menus and reviewed weekly

• Vegetable and Herb garden developed with produce included in the menu and also  in the tuckshop

• Diverse and inclusive program of activities

• YMCA work cooperatively with the school and will actively support the school’s initiatives with a strong focus on school and community partnerships

• Assist with school fundraising events including school dances and family nights

• Injecting significant resources into the service with an entirely new set of student recourse for all activities

• They promote skill-building in all children – social-emotional, cognitive, creativity, physical (fine and gross motor)

• Long solid history of successful organisation and programs

• Discount on camps

• Offer awards to students

• Minimum of two educators rostered on at all times

• Offer support and help in the Tuckshop

• Offer $1000 for needs based students

• Vacation care offers breakfast, morning and afternoon teas and well-structured programs with a variety of methods for feedback.

If you wish to enrol with the YMCA OSHC, you can collect an enrolment form and handbook from the school office.

Spring School Holiday Club

YMCA will be starting their Holiday program as of Tuesday 02 October 2018.
